Inside Serta
Serta introduced the Perfect Sleeper in 1931 and has spent nearly a century refining it. Today the company is one of the largest mattress makers in North America and the leading supplier of beds to hotels — the beds people sleep on once and then try to find at home.
Hotel beds are built to be flipped. That is the origin of our exclusive program: Gavigan's works with Serta to build custom two-sided models using hotel-style construction, with comfort layers on both faces. Flipping and rotating regularly spreads wear across two surfaces instead of one, so the mattress holds its support longer than a comparable one-sided bed.
Very few retailers still offer a genuine two-sided mattress. We do, in multiple comfort levels, and you can lie on them side by side in any Gavigan's showroom before deciding.
